Easy Spinach “Stuffed Shells” with Classic Marinara

Easy Spinach “Stuffed Shells” with Classic Marinara Using Le Sauce & Co.

There’s something undeniably comforting about baked pasta, especially when it’s filled with creamy, cheesy goodness and smothered in a rich tomato sauce. Easy Spinach “Stuffed Shells” with Classic Marinara, made even more delicious with the help of Le Sauce & Co.'s Classic Marinara Gourmet Pasta Sauce. Whether you're feeding a family, hosting friends, or just craving something hearty and homemade, this dish delivers all the flavor with none of the fuss.

Stuffed pasta shells are a timeless Italian-American favorite. Jumbo pasta shells are filled with a savory mixture of ricotta cheese, spinach, and a touch of seasoning, then baked in marinara sauce until bubbly and golden. It’s a dish that looks impressive but is surprisingly easy to prepare—especially when you use a high-quality ready-made sauce like Le Sauce & Co.'s.

Our Classic Marinara is the real star here. Made with ripe tomatoes, aromatic garlic, onions, and a blend of herbs, it brings deep, slow-simmered flavor without hours over the stove. It’s smooth, balanced, and packed with the kind of homemade taste that makes this dish sing.

To start, cook your large rigatoni until just al dente—they’ll continue to cook in the oven. While the pasta cools slightly, whip up the filling: a mix of creamy ricotta cheese, chopped cooked spinach (fresh or frozen), italian sausage, grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, and a little salt and pepper. It’s simple, comforting, and full of flavor.

Spoon a generous layer of Le Sauce & Co.’s Classic Marinara into the bottom of a baking dish, then fill each shell with a heaping spoonful of the spinach-ricotta mixture and nestle them into the sauce. Once all the pasta is "stuffed" and arranged, spoon more marinara over the top and sprinkle with extra mozzarella for that irresistible cheesy crust.

Bake the dish uncovered until the cheese is melted and slightly golden, and the sauce is bubbling around the edges—about 25 to 30 minutes. Let it cool slightly before serving so the shells hold together beautifully on the plate.

What makes this dish such a favorite is how effortlessly it comes together while still feeling like a special, home-cooked meal. The savory filling contrasts perfectly with the bright, herby marinara. And using Le Sauce & Co.'s Classic Marinara means you get all the flavor of a sauce that tastes like it’s been simmering for hours—without any of the work.

Pair your Spinach “Stuffed Shells” with a crisp green salad, a slice of garlic bread, and a glass of red wine or sparkling water, and you’ve got a comforting, wholesome dinner that’s perfect for weeknights or weekend gatherings.

Whether you’re feeding picky eaters, vegetarians, or simply pasta lovers, this easy baked dish is a guaranteed hit. And thanks to Le Sauce & Co., you don’t need to make everything from scratch to create something truly delicious.

The best thing about this recipe is that it has all the same tastes as stuffed shells, without the long cooking time and complicated meal prep. We cut the time in half to create this dish with all of the same deliciousness.
