10 Easy Chicken Dinners, One for Every Fresh 10 Flavor
Chicken again?
Yes.
But it does not have to taste like chicken again.
Chicken is one of the most useful ingredients in the refrigerator because it can go in almost any direction. Bright and zesty. Garlicky and savory. Sweet and smoky. Spicy. Cozy. Taco-shaped.
The problem is not the chicken.
The problem is deciding what to do with it.
So we made that part easy. Here are ten genuinely different chicken dinners—one for every flavor in the Fresh 10.
No complicated marinades. No opening a dozen spice jars. Just chicken, a few familiar ingredients and one clear flavor direction.
Before you start
Use whichever cut of chicken makes sense for the recipe and your schedule.
- Chicken breasts cook quickly and slice easily.
- Chicken thighs stay juicy and work well for roasting.
- Chicken tenders are useful when dinner needed to happen ten minutes ago.
- Ground chicken is perfect for tacos, bowls and lettuce wraps.
- Rotisserie chicken absolutely counts.
No matter which cut you choose, cook raw chicken to a safe internal temperature of 165°F. Use a food thermometer rather than relying only on color.
Now pick your dinner.
1. Kosher Flake Sea Salt: Crispy Salt-Roasted Chicken
Sometimes the simplest chicken dinner proves exactly why good salt matters.
This one uses bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs, potatoes and a few careful pinches of Kosher Flake Sea Salt. The skin gets crisp, the potatoes catch the chicken drippings and dinner tastes like chicken—in the best possible way.
Serves: 4
Time: About 50 minutes
You need
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1½ pounds baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Kosher Flake Sea Salt
- Optional: lemon wedges
Make it
- Heat the oven to 425°F.
- Pat the chicken very dry. Toss the potatoes with one tablespoon of olive oil and a few pinches of Kosher Flake Sea Salt.
- Arrange the potatoes on a sheet pan. Rub the chicken with the remaining oil and season both sides with salt.
- Place the chicken skin-side up among the potatoes.
- Roast for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F and the skin is deeply browned.
- Taste a potato and a piece of chicken. Add one small finishing pinch only if needed.
Serve with lemon wedges if dinner wants something bright.
2. Cracked Black Pepper: Peppery Chicken and Creamy Parmesan Orzo
Fresh Cracked Black Pepper is not background decoration here.
It brings warmth and a gentle bite to tender chicken, creamy orzo and Parmesan. Cozy enough for a Sunday, easy enough for Wednesday.
Serves: 4
Time: About 35 minutes
You need
- 1 pound chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 cup orzo
- 2½ cups chicken broth
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- Cracked Black Pepper
- Kosher Flake Sea Salt, as needed
- 2 cups baby spinach, optional
Make it
- Season the chicken with Kosher Flake Sea Salt and plenty of Cracked Black Pepper.
- Heat one tablespoon of butter or oil in a large skillet. Cook the chicken until browned and 165°F. Transfer it to a plate.
- Add the orzo and stir for one minute.
- Pour in the broth and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is tender.
- Stir in the Parmesan, remaining butter and spinach, if using.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and finish with another generous turn of Cracked Black Pepper.
Taste before adding more salt. The broth and Parmesan may have already handled it.
3. Everyday Seasoning: Monday-Night Chicken Sheet Pan
This is the dinner for the night when choosing dinner already feels like too much work.

No sauce required. Although sauce is always welcome at our table.
4. Garlic & Herb Blend: Garlic Herb Chicken Pasta
This is creamy enough to feel comforting without turning into a project.
Garlic & Herb Blend gives the chicken, spinach and pasta a complete savory direction, so you do not have to measure a little oregano, a little basil and whatever else the recipe writer decided you needed.

Time: About 30 minutes
You need
- 12 ounces pasta
- 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Garlic & Herb Blend
- 3 cups baby spinach

How much seasoning should you use?
Start with a light, even coating.
Check whether your blend contains salt before adding more. Sprinkle the seasoning across the entire surface of the chicken, then turn the pieces and season the other side when appropriate.
Cook the chicken safely.
Taste.
If the flavor is too quiet, add another small pinch of the blend. If you can taste the blend but dinner still seems muted, try Kosher Flake Sea Salt.
You can always add more.
The chicken is less willing to negotiate after you add too much.

You do not need ten unrelated grocery lists to make chicken feel different every night.
You need fresh seasonings with clear jobs.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best all-purpose seasoning for chicken?
Everyday Seasoning is the easiest starting point for chicken because it works with roasted, grilled, sautéed and air-fried preparations.
What seasonings taste good on chicken breast?
Everyday Seasoning, Garlic & Herb, Citrus Pepper, Smoky BBQ, Everyday Mexican and Chili Crunch can all work well. Choose according to whether you want savory, bright, smoky, zesty or spicy chicken.
Should I oil chicken before adding seasoning?
A light coating of oil can help seasoning adhere and encourage browning. Pat the chicken dry before adding the oil and blend.
Should I season both sides of chicken?
Yes, when the shape and preparation allow it. Even coverage creates more consistent flavor.
How do I know when chicken is done?
Chicken should reach a safe internal temperature of 165°F. Check the thickest part with a food thermometer without touching bone.
Can I use rotisserie chicken in these dinners?
Yes. Add a Fresh 10 blend while warming the chicken or use it in the sauce, grain or vegetables around it. Taste first because rotisserie chicken is usually already salted.
