Ingredients:
-
1 lb cooked turkey, sliced or shredded
-
4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
-
1/2 cup milk
-
4 tablespoons butter
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
-
2 tablespoon olive oil or butter
-
1 pouch Le Sauce & Co. Thanksgiving Turkey Gourmet Gravy
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
-
Place the peeled and chopped potatoes in a pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt.
-
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
-
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the milk and butter. Mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and keep warm.
-
Cook the Green Beans:
-
While the potatoes are cooking, bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 4-5 minutes, until tender-crisp.
-
Drain the green beans and immediately plunge them into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain again.
-
In a skillet, heat the olive oil or butter over medium heat. Add the green beans and sauté for 2-3 minutes, until heated through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
-
Heat the Turkey and Gravy:
-
If your turkey is cold, warm it in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave until heated through.
-
In a small saucepan, heat the Le Sauce & Co. Thanksgiving Turkey Gourmet Gravy over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.
-
Assemble the Plates:
-
Divide the turkey evenly between two plates. Add a generous portion of mashed potatoes and green beans to each plate.
-
Pour the warmed Thanksgiving Turkey Gourmet Gravy over the turkey and mashed potatoes.
Enjoy your simple and delicious turkey dinner with homemade mashed potatoes, green beans, and Le Sauce & Co. Thanksgiving Turkey Gourmet Gravy!
