Easy & Delicious Tomato Basil Baked Ziti 


  • 6 ounces (170g) Ziti Pasta
  • 1 pouch Le Sauce & Co.® Tomato Basil gourmet pasta sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)


  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the ziti or penne pasta according to the package instructions until it's just slightly undercooked (about 2 minutes less than al dente). 
  3. While the pasta is cooking, in a large bowl, add the full pouch of Tomato Basil pasta sauce.
  4. Once the Pasta is done cooking, strain and add to the bowl. 
  5. In a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet, place half of the sauced pasta in the bottom. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan on top.
  6. Add the remaining sauced pasta on top of the first layer, then sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  7. Place the baking dish or skillet in the preheated oven and bake for 7-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the top is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
  9. Serve your delicious baked ziti while it's hot. This dish pairs well with a simple side salad or some garlic bread for a complete meal.
