Chicken and Rice with Marry Me Chicken Gravy

Chicken and Rice with Marry Me Chicken Gravy

There’s something undeniably comforting about a plate of tender chicken and fluffy white rice. It’s a timeless pairing—humble, satisfying, and simple. But when you pour over a warm, velvety Marry Me Chicken gravy, this everyday meal transforms into something extraordinary. The richness of the sauce, the softness of the rice, and the savory flavor of the chicken come together in a way that’s both cozy and elevated.

Marry Me Chicken gravy isn’t your average sauce. It’s a creamy, flavorful blend with notes of sun-dried tomato, garlic, parmesan, and a touch of heat—designed to taste like something you’d spend all day cooking, but conveniently ready to go when you are. It has just the right amount of decadence without being too heavy, and when it’s spooned over a tender piece of chicken and served with rice, it feels like a warm hug on a plate.

What makes white rice such a perfect partner here is its blank-canvas quality. It soaks up every bit of that flavorful gravy, turning each grain into a little burst of savory, creamy goodness. There’s no need for anything fancy—just good rice, a well-cooked piece of chicken, and that bold, rich sauce doing all the talking.

It’s also a dinner that works any night of the week. If you’re rushing home and need something fast, you can use rotisserie chicken or pan-seared chicken breasts. Cook up some rice (or reheat leftovers), heat the Marry Me Chicken sauce, and in minutes, you’ve got a dinner that tastes like you went the extra mile.

But beyond the convenience, it’s the flavor that keeps people coming back. There’s a reason the dish is called “Marry Me Chicken”—because it’s just that good. It’s the kind of sauce that can turn even a skeptic into a believer after one bite. Paired with the simplicity of rice and the heartiness of chicken, it becomes a weeknight classic that doesn’t need any bells or whistles.

You can also dress it up if you want. Add steamed green beans or roasted broccoli on the side. Stir some chopped spinach into the sauce. Or serve it family-style so everyone can dig in and drizzle as much gravy as they want. The flexibility is part of the charm—it can be as simple or as special as you need it to be.

So if you're looking for a meal that’s comforting, easy, and packed with flavor, chicken and rice with Marry Me Chicken gravy is the answer. It’s a reminder that with just a few good ingredients, you can make something truly delicious. And maybe even a little unforgettable.

Chicken and Rice with Marry Me Chicken Gravy

Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 pouch Le Sauce & Co. Marry Me Chicken Gourmet Gravy

  • 2 cups white rice

  • 4 cups water or low-sodium chicken broth

  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley, grated parmesan

Instructions:

  1. Cook the rice:
In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water (or chicken broth) to a boil. Add 2 cups of white rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–18 minutes, or until rice is fluffy and water is absorbed. Remove from heat and fluff with a fork. Keep covered.

  2. Season and cook the chicken:
While the rice is cooking, pat chicken dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temp of 165°F). Remove from pan and set aside.

  3. Warm the gravy:
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and pour in the Marry Me Chicken Gravy, scraping up any browned bits from the chicken. Let the sauce warm gently for 2–3 minutes.

  4. Combine and serve:
Return the chicken to the pan, spoon sauce over each piece, and let it simmer for another 1-2 minutes so the flavors meld.
Spoon white rice onto each plate, top with a chicken breast, and ladle warm gravy generously over the top.

  5. Garnish (optional):
Sprinkle with fresh parsley or grated parmesan for added flavor and a finished look.

Serving Tip:

Serve with a green vegetable like steamed broccoli or sautéed spinach to round out the meal. This dish is perfect for weeknights, dinner parties, or any time you want a comforting, crowd-pleasing meal with minimal fuss
