White Wine Lemon Garlic Shrimp, Pasta & Sweet Peas

Ingredients

  • Pasta: We like fettuccine but orzo works well also. It is really your choice

  • Shrimp: 6 per person. We mostly use frozen raw shrimp, tail on

  • Frozen Peas: One handful per person

  • Salt for pasta water

  • 1 pouch Le Sauce & Co, White Wine Lemon Garlic finishing sauce

  • Extra delicious add ons. These two add ons add 4 minutes to your cook time.

    • Mushrooms: 6 slices

    • Bacon: 1 uncooked piece

Prep Ingredients & Kitchen equipment:

  • Take out two pans

    • One for pasta: 4 qt pan or slightly bigger

    • One saute or fry pan

  • For Pasta: Add water to a pan

  • Shrimp: make sure shrimp are fully defrosted.

    • To defrost, add shrimp to a small bowl and add warm water from the tap (not boiling; about 4 min to defrost)

    • When defrosted, dry with a paper towel

  • Frozen Peas: Take out two handfuls and place them on a plate that you will use later to plate.

  • Extra delicious add ons: Slice bacon and mushrooms

Preparation

  1. Boil water for pasta, add salt

  2. Set timer for 4 min

  3. Once the water is boiling, add pasta. Cook according to package directions and drain.

  4. Turn on saute/fry pan to medium heat

  5. When the timer goes off, then set the timer for 5 min

  6. To the warm saute/fry pan, add White Wine Lemon Garlic finishing sauce, and stir gently

  7. Your timer just went off!

  8. Add shrimp, peas and drained pasta to saute pan. Mix together, keeping the pan on medium heat, with tongs for two minutes.

  9. DONE! Plate and enjoy.

  10. Extra delicious add ons: If you chose to add bacon and mushrooms, add sliced bacon and mushrooms to the pan at step #6 stirring several times while they cook.
