Easter Rotisserie Chicken Dinner with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans

Easter Rotisserie Chicken Dinner with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans

Ingredients:

  • 1 store-bought rotisserie chicken

  • 1 package of instant mashed potatoes (We recommend Simply Potatoes)

  • 1 cup fresh green beans, trimmed

  • 1 pouch Le Sauce & Co. 4-serving Roasted Chicken Gourmet Gravy

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Butter (optional, for mashed potatoes and green beans)

Instructions:

  1. If you need to reheat the rotisserie chicken, preheat the oven to 350 and then place the chicken in the oven for 30 minutes.( If you are putting the instant mashed potatoes in the oven, you can put them in now as well.)

  2. Place a pot of water with a steamer basket on the stove to boil for the green beans
  3. While you are waiting for the water to boil, you can take the mashed potatoes and heat them up, or continue to let them heat up in the Oven 

    1. Microwave: Peel film at the corner to vent. Heat on high for 3 minutes. Remove film and stir. Heat for 2-1/2 additional minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes

    2. Oven: Oven: Preheat Temp: 350 degrees F. Transfer potatoes to an oven-ready container. Heat at 350 degrees F for 15-30 minutes

    3. If you are using the flake variety, you can heat them up according to instructions

  4. Once the water on the stove is boiling, you can put the green beans in the steamer basket for 4-5 minutes, or until tender.

  5. In a small saucepan, heat the Le Sauce & Co. Roasted Chicken Gourmet Gravy over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.

  6. Take out the chicken and mashed potatoes from the oven when ready

  7. Plate and enjoy!
